Situated at the famous V&A Waterfront in the beautiful Mother City of Cape Town, we boast a number of training vessels as well as 2 x commercial charter yachts on which our students get some sea time.

We offer a free personal consultation service as well as provide each and every student with a yachting CV template, worldwide crew agency list & worldwide list of crew accommodation. We have also aligned ourselves with a partner whom assists all our students with gaining their visas’s. (Mediterranean Season: Schengan Caribbean Season: USA B1/B2)

STCW 95 (For the Super Yachts)

Situated under the shadows of Table Mountain, in the Port of Cape Town our STCW 95 providers specialize in Maritime Safety Training according to the International Maritime Organization’s based training standards in all areas of seamanship (STCW 95) Convention for the Standards of Training for Certified Watchkeepers.All their courses are assessed according to the STCW matrix in order to make our certificates internationally accepted. Today, the academy can count itself as one of the pioneers and expertise in the maritime field as we have a very strong background and it is striving into the future with the latest information and expertise. The Academy has also increased its accreditations to include Survival and Marine Fire Fighting and can now offer all the tertiary courses required by the STCW 95 Convention.

Sailing (For the Sailing and Super Yacht careers)

We offer the full range of Sailing offshore sailing courses, as well as short and professional sailing courses such as VHF/SRC, RYA Radar, Diesel Engine Maintenance, STCW 95, stewardess and chef’s courses. Our Sailing school is based on the waters edge at the V & A Waterfront, Cape Town. All our highly trained RYA sailing instructors will be your guides as you find your ‘sea legs’ and learn to sail. Start at the bottom and learn to sail all the way up to RYA Yachtmaster.

Yachting (for the Super Yachts and Sailing careers)

Our yachting specialists are a South African Sailing (SAS) recognised training center located in the scenic and historic city of Cape Town, South Africa.They offer a wide variety of sailing and power courses from beginner to the prestigious RYA Yachtmaster. Their training programs are professionally run by fully certified instructors on safe, reliable boats.
Basking seals and circling gulls complete the marine scene of Cape Town’s foreshore, and yachtsmen and women from all around the globe come here to experience the beauty of the area as well as to sail in some of the most challenging waters in the world (our claim to fame). The Super Yacht and yachting training is hard work, and will sufficiently prepare you for what’s to come once you find work.
