Art Auctioneer

Job Description:

Associate Auctioneers report to the Principal Auctioneer on board their respective cruise ship and will typically have a performance based opportunity to advance to the lead Auctioneer position within 6-12 months. An array of opportunities will await the sales driven professional seeking a unique and highly rewarding career in fine art auctioneering. Couples and teams welcome. Contracts are renewable every 6 months after an 8 week vacation period allowing you the opportunity to travel across the globe.

If you possess the following qualities:

Sales ability and experience a plus
Excellent communication skills
High standards of customer service
Ability and/or experience in public speaking or presentations.
Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with or without supervision
Art knowledge and/or eagerness to learn
Computer capabilities

You will have:

An opportunity to earn a basic salary of $1200 per month plus a 20% commission on all sales.

An unprecedented training and support program

Successful Candidates will complete a 4 week onboard training program. Training will include public speaking Artist knowledge and different production techniques.

Flights, food, accommodation (single cabin) and health cover are provided.

Your salary will not be taxed as you will be working in international waters.

You will be required to participate in crew and passenger lifeboat drills as well as completing onboard fire fighting, first aid and environmental awareness courses.
